Welcome to the YMCA Coaches Association. The Coaches Association would like to use this page to help answer questions to and from YMCA Coaches. Questions should be submitted to Mike Leonard, President of the YMCA Coaches Association at Mleonard@cincinnatiymca.org. Questions and answers that the Association feels are of value to all YMCA coaches will be published here.

The 2009 ASCA World Clinic (September 8-13 in Fort Lauderdale, FL) will include both a YMCA Principles Class and a YMCA Coaches Meeting. Thanks to Speedo, the meeting will feature both a talk and a Q&A Session with Eddie Reese, 2008 USA Olympic Team Coach. For more information see the 2009 ASCA World Clinic Pre-Registration Form.

There are two other clinics/forums announced that will include the YMCA Principles Class -

• 2009 East Field YMCA Swim Coaches Forum - October 2 - 4 at the Brandywine YMCA, WIlmington, DE. This will also include a Principles Trainer Level Class

• 2009 Eastern States Clinic - October 17-18 at the Crowne Plaza, Cherry Hill, NJ. Information can be found at http://www.swimclinic.com/eastern_details.html.

Attention Coaches and Swimmers! Each year the YMCA Coaches Association sponsors a YMCA Altitude Training Camp. For swimmers there are openings for 10 men and 10 women. There are also two openings for coaches. For more information please read the Altitude Camp Flyer. If you wish to be considered, please complete either the Swimmers Application or the Coaches Application.
