Hello,
 
I thought I had read somewhere that we needed to provide the names of swimmers who may qualify for the meet after the initial deadline but during the alloted "Additioanl Entries" timeline stated in the meet handbook prior to the meet they may qualify in. Is thsi the case?

If you review page 20 of the Meet Handbook it states- New swimmers who qualify from meets held between July 14th and July 24th are permitted. It also states - Teams must have already registered in the meet by the meet entry deadline date of July 13, 2011.  Due to the website crash the meet entry deadline has been extended to July 14, 2011. Therefore the teams must be registered not the swimmers.
Also please note - New swimmers must have signed new Additional Entry Release/Consent Form that must be signed by the swimmer, the executive director, and membership director. A copy will be available on the www.ymcaswimminganddiving.org web site beginning Friday, July 16th. In addition each new swimmer must have a signed Parent Consent form to present at registration. If any swimmer proposed for registration under this provision does not have all of his/her proper paperwork at registration, that swimmer will not be entered into the meet and will not be allowed to swim.
