I have a swimmer who recently moved to our area and joined our YMCA swim team. She will have been a member of our YMCA for more than 90 days prior to the Long Course Championships. She has been a high school swimmer where she previously lived, but has not competed for an age group (YMCA or USA) team before. Therefore she has not competed in a YMCA Championship meet. She has competed in interassociation meets this summer, but here in Maine, we have no YMCA championship meets during the summer that she can attend. I would like her to have the opportunity to compete at the National meet if she qualifies. Is there a way that she may be eligible to compete if she qualifies? |

Sorry coach, but participation in the required interassociation and a YMCA sanctioned meet is required for entry into the national meet.
