YMCA of the USA Competitive Swimming and Diving Fo: LC hotel to meet transportation and vice versa

   Will the two meet hotels or even the Y National Swimming committee be offering some kind of shuttle service from the meet hotels to the pool and back?  I have heard that there is no line of public transportation available to and from the hotel and pool? And a taxi ride is $20 one way!  Is there parking available at the pool?

Georgia Tech seems very exciting for a meet location but I just wondering if being in Atlanta that cost of transportation to and from the meet may be to costly for some teams??

Thanks for the help.  Need some questions answered before we embark on trying to attend this meet.

	Yes, the meet committee is currently looking into shuttle service from the host hotel to the pool. Final arrangements have not been approved because we have not been given a cost estimate. Unfortunately I cannot confirm or deny the taxi cost you have stated because I have not taken a cab to the pool from the host hotel. There is parking available in a school lot across the street from the pool, but again the cost has not been given to the committee. The committee, like you, is very excited about the meet location and we are looking at any and all ways to make the cost of attending manageable for all. Hope to see you in Atlanta. Bettie

	Is there a target date when the information be posted for the shuttle transportation. Parents are starting to book their travel and would like to know if a rental car is necessary. Edited by Parent123 - May/03/2011 at 2:42pm

Not only will you find transportation information but information explaining the special incentive program for meet participants that are part of the "Stay With Us" program.
