If a National Qualifying LC relay time achieved in the summer of 2009 was achieved with a member of the relay team being a swimmer not eligible to compete in the 2009 LC Nationals because she had swum for a college for a full short course season, can that time nevertheless be used as a team time to allow other swimmers to swim that relay at Nationals?

Thank you

If a team makes a qualifying time, but not all of the swimmers on that qualifying relay attend the meet, you may use a substitute swimmer(s) only if the swimmers that in fact made the qualifying time are currently rostered swimmers in good standing.

If the 4th girl on the qualifying relay that is not attending the meet is currently on your team roster, you may substitute any swimmer on your team that meet the eligibility requirements.  If that 4th swimmer is no longer on your team or not eligible to compete, you cannot use the qualifying time.
