Our Y in Tallahassee is trying to get a swim team off the ground and is struggling to locate replacement platforms for 2 of our 6 lanes.
Can anyone out there in the YMCA swimming world let us know where we can purchase a new platform?....we dont need the base...it is cemented into the ground...
Is there by any chance a Y who has upgraded their starting platforms and would like to donate their old (but useable) ones to help us out?!? :)
Please respond with your guidance and help!
Thanks in advance!

We have really had no response of help from anywhere, which is quite disappointing.
Even the emails from our regional director bounce back.
Is this really what Y swimming is all about?
It looks like we'll give it another week and then likely abandon Y swimming in favor of the City swim team.

This is a competitive swimming Forum managed by volunteers. You questions should be directed to professional YMCA facility managers. In your own state, there are at least three YMCA programs that you might contact, Sarasota, Central Florida in Orlando and Broward County near Ft. Lauderdale. You might also call USA Swimming Headquarters in Colorado Springs and speak with their Facility Development Director, Mick Nelson. In addition Chip Allen from Kast-a-Way is a wonderful resource for YMCA Competitive Swimming. You might speak with Chip at some point.
You should also make sure that their is no additional liability incurred by your team only replacing the tops of the blocks and not the whole block. Understandably, this is legal question, but most manufacturers and large clubs should be able to give you some guidance.
