We have been approached by a local, successful non-YMCA swimteam wishing to rent pool space from us. They are not interested in becoming a Y team or to establish any other formal affiliation. I see financial pro's and YMCA conflicts and would like some guidance from others who have experience in this area. I need to make a recommendation to my Exec soon.
Thank you for your help.

Hi Laura,
That is an internal decision your YMCA would have to make. As long as you do not have an existing YMCA competitive swim team and it would not take away from your programs and pool time for your membership I would say go for the financial part of this approach.

I do have a small developmental team--they were talking about disolving it and bringing in the other team.
Thank you for your help.
